Jannelle So is a Filipino American journalist and broadcaster currently well known for her work as the host of Kababayan L.A., "Southern California's first and only locally produced daily show for and about the Filipinos" airing on KSCI LA18. Born and raised in the Philippines, Jannelle moved to the United States in 2003 with her family, leaving behind a budding career as an established sportscaster for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). She completed a certificate course in journalism at UCLA extension and did freelance writing for 'Young Money' and 'Audrey' before coming to Kababayan LA.
